In architecture, representation—such as drawings, visualizations, and scale models—generally refers to the ways in which architecture is presented and communicated to different audiences. These representations, however, are usually not considered artistic ends in themselves, but rather tools for realizing the actual work, often a physical building.
Exhibition '1:1' explores a different attitude toward architecture in their work. What happens if the meaning and aesthetics of architectural representations become detached from their practical purposes? What if architectural images are approached not as instruments, but as atmospheres, personal memories, or fragments—presentations of architecture?
